countdown is flying..

sunday night my friends threw me a goodbye party..

i was just wanting to slip out of town without a fuss, but my friends just didn't want me to go like that..
it's funny.. i had invited like 15 people and only 5 showed up.. whatever..

it was really nice.. Lynnie made some finger foods, meatballs in a homemade bbq sauce, baby turkey weiners wrapped in bacon, crackers and spinach dip..
my adopted mom made her homemade chinese chicken salad, which was DELICIOUS!

Lynnie also made a homemade non-alcoholic punch.. which was very yummy..

she gave me a movie as a christmas present, DRAG ME TO HELL, which we watched when everyone else left..
and Mikey gave me some food gift cards for my trip..

me and Lynnie watched DRAG ME TO HELL and HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT..
both movies are really good!! HAUNTING was really freaky!

this is the last week of me packing up.. my sister will be here saturday and sunday to help me with packing up the moving truck.. and i'm sure my neighbor will help me get my car onto the auto transport trailer too..

and i've also recruited my neighbor's little girl to help me with the cleaning part.. i found her a nice gift that she could use with her friends.. roller skating passes.. she's only 12.. i'm sure that she and her friends could use them..

time is flying now.. faster than i thought.. but i'm looking forward to the new adventure come monday..
