not going anywhere..

now i'm not leaving town anymore..

i finally got a second job!! i've been looking since October and this bakery/coffee shop is the only one willing to work around my radio station schedule..

it took a bit of persistence on my part, proving that i really wanted the job, and earlier i finalized the details with my new bosses.. (mother and daughter team)

i start in the morning, which means i have to go to bed earlier now since they are wanting me up in the early am.. like 9am..
i'm not able to sleep at the moment becuz i'm a bit excited and nervous about being a barista in training..
i've never worked with coffees and i don't drink coffee.. but i was assured by the boss's daughter that i would like her coffee drinks since she hates the taste of coffee too, and makes the drinks where you don't taste the coffee..

i'm glad that i was told that it was ok to screw up.. everybody does.. just to own up to it when you do.. which of course i do..

this place sounds like it's gonna be a fun place where i can even make tips too!
wow, daily money!!

now i'm gonna have to tell my parents the bad news.. that i'm not moving home yet..
i know they were looking forward to me coming home.. my dad has been really happy when i told him that i was planning on it..
but i guess i'm gonna disappoint him a bit.. and mom.. she was looking forward to having a companion to keep her company while dad's away..

isn't it funny how things work out.. eventually?
